At Philly Handyman Remodeling & Renovations, we got our hands dirty with a big bathroom project recently. It was a partial gut and rebuild focused on a bathroom remodel with tub and tile installation. This bathroom was an overhaul to say the least. We started off by demolishing the former bathtub surround and floor tile. Once we leveled the floor, we set to work installing LVP flooring, a new bathtub, toilet, vanity, and even a ceiling vent fan. The new bathtub surround was entirely waterproofed using Redgard. We built a new knee wall at the head of the tub and crafted an in-wall tiled shower niche. We revamped the plumbing by switching out the old copper lines for Pex. To accentuate the vertically stacked wall tile design, we added new brass hardware and Schluter edging for an elegant touch. Get an estimate today!
