The existing balcony and railing assembly were deteriorating, posing a safety risk. We accessed the work area safely using a ladder and roofline support, removed the mounting hardware, and addressed the underlying attachment points. After the balcony was removed, we repaired the exterior wall and siding, patched and sealed penetrations, reinstalled siding trim as needed, and weatherproofed the area to restore the exterior integrity.
