Back on August 12th, 2024, Philly Handyman Remodeling & Renovations took on a project which necessitated swapping an old front door with a crisp new storm door. It was more than just a simple replacement, we offered a complete storm door installation service. We started with the removal of the existing door, frame, and hardware. The threshold area was then cleaned and prepped, ensuring a clean canvas for the new door. Any traces of water-damaged wood around the entry were addressed and sealed. When the stage was set, the brand new storm door was positioned, leveled, and securely fastened to the brick opening. The door was adjusted for proper alignment and latch function, ensuring its smooth operation.
